Inspired by the Mediterranean culture, Texturise was started with an aim to bring texture, colour, comfort and cosiness to people’s homes.
Texturise founders Berna (who is originally from Istanbul) and Jo (who is from the exotic south, Kent) met in Madrid whilst studying. Relocation, marriage and two kids later, they started Texturise to bring some of the practicality, comfort and vibrance that they love from Turkey, Spain and their adventures to homes in the UK.
Texturise is a small family business and we aim to work with small family businesses, independent artists and artisans who care about their work, art and crafts as much as we do. Most of our textiles are made using traditional production methods and are hand finished. Our cushions are made for us, from fabrics we have sourced and separately had manufactured. All our ceramics and bags are lovingly handmade.
We love sourcing new products, fabrics, patterns and designs and we are excited that Texturise will be a dynamic business.
